Studio Kre’at is a sanctuary filled with emotional resilience and creative transformation. Through daily letters, mixed media art, meditative reflections and so much more Lisa Raie wanders a journey of self discovery, expression and healing through great pain and suffering to find joy and happiness in the smallest ways creatively.
Lisa Raie is a woman of deep catholic faith, wife, mother of five grown up children and a survivor in every sense of the word.
For over 25 years she has lived with chronic and life altering diseases. She has also walked through and out the other side of both cervical and brain cancer and healed her way through the deep wounds of childhood trauma, depression and complex PTSD.
Mainstream medicine didnt give her many answers, so now she walks a path of holistic and alternative healing, slowing symptoms and reclaiming love of life, one breath at a time.
Her visual art and written words, combined with her faith carry her through and its why she is here in this studio to share light for those enduring suffering.

Artist Statement
I create to remember the truth:
That light is stronger than darkness.
Hope is never lost and healing is a sacred journey that deserves to be witnessed.
My art began as a lifeline - a place to breathe when suffering felt unrelenting. Chronic illness, trauma and the weight of life's invisible battles threatened to silence me. Dawing and painting brecame the way I prayed my way through the neverending pain and suffering. Writing became the way I told the truth when no one could hear me. Together, they became a sanctuary where God met me and reminded me that beauty can rise out of broken places.
With creativity, I explore the themes of motherhood, grief, resilience and faith - the quiet moments of simply being and that shape a soul on its way home. Each mark made onto paper or canvas is a prayer. Each colour, a declaration that resurrection is possible. My work is not about perfection - it is about presence, about staying with what hurts long enough to find the grace hidden inside it.
In the building up of Studio Kre'at, I invite others into this space of creative renewal. A space where we honour the stories that have been etched into our bodies. A space where we can rest, notice and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal new life unfolding. My deepest hope is that my words and paintings help you to feel seen, less alone and held by God who never stops pursuing the heart.
Art is how I carry light into the world and I believe it can carry light into yours too.
